Home of Shakuhachi Bamboo Flute Maker Perry Yung: Info about the history of the shakuhachi and playing the shakuhachi. Perry makes these instruments and also repairs them. His blog shows some of those repairs, and gives tips for taking care of your own instruments. Perry has flutes for sale, and can also custom-make a flute for you.

Louise Wells Cameron Art Museum: Wonderful space, with a variety of exhibits. Also presents a concert series the second Friday of each month which features local performers. I sometimes do "musical commentary" on the art works, improvising at each piece.
Green Art Studio: Greg Patch Visual Art site. Greg is very conscious of materials used in his art work, and has developed the use of sustainable and environmentally friendly beeswax colors and papers.

News and Discussion of Coming Technologies: A cool article about how cells make sounds. Yeast cells have been studied, and seem to "sing" in a certain key when they are healthy, and at a different pitch when under stress or dying.
Home of Booming Sand Dunes: A site that discusses the phenomenon of desert sand dunes that create very low frequency "booming" sounds. An interesting video clip is on the site, as well.
